Gmail Watchpoints

Additional Information regarding Gmail transition:

• Filters do not migrate, but if you like, you can export from your @physics account and import to your @ucsd account

• Important flags do not migrate - the Important algorithm will need time to relearn in your new account

• Label colors and Show/Hide settings will need to be set back up

• Scheduled Send emails migrate over as Drafts, however you will need to re-schedule send

• Snoozed emails will need to be re-snoozed, Muted conversations will need to be re-muted

• Templates (Canned Responses) do not migrate, will need to re-enable Templates and then recreate your Templates

• IMPORTANT: Verify your Forwarding, Vacation, Send As, and Signature to ensure it has what you need - you may need to reconfigure

If you are utilizing Inbox Categories in your @physics.ucsd.edu Google account, once your email has been copied to your @ucsd.edu Google account you will notice that the categories are not there, and all the emails are mixed up in your Inbox.

You can see which Categories you have set up in your @physics.ucsd.edu account by going to the Settings gear icon > See all Settings > Inbox

In your @ucsd.edu account, when you set up the same Inbox Categories, your emails will be resorted accordingly.
